We’re releasing our second edition of the Chicago Mushroom Club Zine on August 23rd, 2024. Pre-Sale orders will go towards printing costs and give us an idea of how many to print!
Chicago Mushroom Club is releasing another zine!
Featuring:
-Fungal art by local mushroom enthusiasts and artists.
-Essays on “ethno-mycology” and fungal inspired anti-capitalist theory.
-Microscopy Photos
-Our top 10 most common Chicago species.
-CMC’s observation heatmap, thousands of observations!
-iNaturalist Tutorials and access to join our current projects.
-Updates about our work at Graceland Cemetery!
-An interview with Ohio Mushroom DNA Lab’s founder, Kyle Canan.

This zine is twice the size of our first edition, we’re so grateful to all of our members who submitted their art ❤️🍄❤️
The price increase is a reflection of the additional printing costs that come with a larger zine. Our zines will always be printed locally, bound, and in full color.
Due to a printer falling through, we have to delay our zine shipping date until Wednesday 08/21/24. We’re so grateful for your interest and your orders, we can’t wait to get them to you!
