Submit to CMC’s Spring Gallery Show in collaboration with The Chicago Mosaic School
Chicago Mushroom Club is excited to announce an open call for Chicago-based artists to submit artwork for our spring mushroom-themed art show!
Artists of all backgrounds and practices are encouraged to submit work in any medium that explores mycological themes—whether tangentially related or directly made from mycological materials.
We are especially committed to supporting artists from marginalized communities and those who have faced barriers to entry in the art world. In our effort to make the art scene more inclusive and community oriented, we are prioritizing work by diverse, non-traditional, and emerging artists. If you have a unique perspective or approach, we want to see your work.
Performance artists are encouraged to submit performance proposals as we will be hosting a variety of events throughout the run of the show.
Deadline for submissions: March 14th, 2025
Exhibition dates: April 11th to May 10th
Gallery location: GoCM 1127 W Granville Ave
To submit, please include in the message box:
A brief artist statement.
The title of each piece.
A short description of each piece.
Any additional information you find necessary.
Artists whose work have been chosen will be contacted March 17th, we’re so psyched to see what our community can do!
